Dedicated to providing patients with harmonious care and meaningful results by using an integrative approach to Oriental medicine

MY MISSION

Acupuncture

  • Acupuncture is one of the most widespread healing systems in the world. It involves the stimulation of special points on the body using fine needles, heat, pressure friction or other techniques. Acupuncture balances and facilitates the circulation of blood, fluids and the flow of energy, through specific pathways of the body, optimizing its ability to heal injury, illness and dysfunction.

  • Seasonal allergies, respiratory disorders (ex. asthma), headaches (ex. tension headaches and migraines), neck pain, back pain, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, tennis elbow, menstrual cramps, and more

Cupping

  • Cupping serves to facilitate circulation, eliminate pain and stiffness and improve overall health. During this therapy, glass cups are applied to the skin. The inside of the cup is depressurized with a flame or a vacuum, so it then lifts up the skin below it and brings body toxins to the surface. Cupping often leaves round bruises, which are painless. It helps to relax the muscles and increase circulation.

  • Fatigue, rheumatism, inflammatory conditions, diseases of the digestive, circulatory and respiratory systems, sports injuries

Gua sha

  • Gua sha is the scraping of a polished square mineral on the skin of affected areas. Often it is done on the upper and lower back, neck, and the ribs. It is a long time home remedy which is used for colds and fever, nausea, muscle aches and pain, as well as inhibited urination. Gua sha helps to dissolve stagnation, release heat, and facilitate qi and blood flow.

  • Back pain, shoulder and neck tension, carpal tunnel, tennis elbow, poor circulation, scar tissue

Services

Laser acupuncture

  • Laser acupuncture offers patients a painless, non-invasive treatment that has a positive effect on pain reduction by the end of the very first treatment. Flooding damaged, inflamed tissues with light photons promotes increased blood flow and increased production of pain reduction chemicals from the brain and adrenal glands. This creates an optimal healing environment that reduces inflammation, swelling, muscle spasms, stiffness and pain.

  • Joint pain, tendinitis, carpal tunnel, nerve pain, respiratory disorders, pain relief, inflammation, immunoregulation, stress relief, myofascial pain, chronic headaches

Moxibustion

  • Moxibustion is a traditional Oriental medicine technique that involves the burning of mugwort, a small, spongy herb, on or near your body’s meridians and acupuncture points. The purpose is to strengthen the blood, stimulate the energy flow, and maintain general health.

  • Arthritis, digestive problems, hot flashes, vitality

Traditional herbal remedy

  • Traditional herbal remedies work to bring the body’s systems back into balance so the body can heal itself naturally. Each herbal formula is tailored for you and usually given as a formula of five to ten herbs. Acupuncture and traditional herbal treatment are often combined and complement each other. The most common ways to take traditional herbs are in a tea, pills, or tincture.

  • Mood disorders, viral and bacterial infections (common cold, bronchitis, long-term COVID symptoms), digestive disorders, respiratory disorders, joint pain, menstrual disorders, menopause/andropause
